A little over a week ago we passed the two-year anniversary of the start of the Wyvern. Unfortunately, our second year was overshadowed by a 7-month posting drought. Between players being unable to post due to heavy work loads, and players too distracted to post because of World of Warcraft, things have been slow for the Wyvern.

Dragon*Con in September gives us a possible opportunity to recruit new players for the Wyvern. In addition, I've been toying around with the idea of establishing a second game, possibly of a Fantasy nature similar to the old Kathanas game, in case we're really successful in finding players to support a second game.

In order to do this, I need to know who still wants to participate in the Wyvern, and how often you think you'll be able to post should the Wyvern resume. The plan is for "Season 3" to start after Dragon*Con, which gives us two months to prepare a new storyline and to attempt any long-overdue conclusions to the existing story.

The "ship in a bottle" stories might be an idea to start Season 3 off with, or we may still look into running that as a side adventure.
